An Introduction to General Translation

The Faculty of Languages and Translation is holding a free 18-hour course titled, " An Introduction to General Translation." FLT Lecturer Mr. Eyhab Abdulrazak Bader Eddin will deliver the hands-on course utilizing an active experiential learning methodology. We believe that translation is a fundamental human activity that occurs between languages, cultures and forms of expression. As such, we are committed to providing high quality community service translation training in general, and in specific, teachers from the Ministry of Education for this course. Participants will be introduced to translation studies as a separate discipline of knowledge and will gain an increased awareness related to the nature of translation. The course will be held every Monday and Wednesday from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. starting on February 20th. It is worth noting that certificates of completion will be distributed!
