Vision

To establish and maintain a strong and engaging social media presence for the Faculty of Languages and Translation (FLT) that connects with our stakeholders and promotes our mission, vision, and values to the world.

Mission

The Social Media Unit at the Faculty of Languages and Translation is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to enhance the FLT's social media presence and engagement, and to communicate effectively with our stakeholders through various social media platforms, including Facebook and Twitter. We are committed to providing high-quality and relevant content that informs, educates, and engages our stakeholders, and to continuously improving our social media performance through analytics, feedback, and best practices.

Core Functions

  1. Develop and implement social media strategies that align with the FLT's mission, vision, and values, and that target our key stakeholders, including students, faculty, staff, alumni, and the general public.
  2. Create and curate high-quality and relevant content for our social media platforms, including announcements, accomplishments, events, news, and academic information, and ensure their accuracy, timeliness, and appropriateness.
  3. Engage with our stakeholders through social media by responding to their comments, questions, and feedback, and by promoting their achievements and activities.
  4. Monitor and analyze our social media performance and engagement, and use the insights and feedback to improve our content and strategies.
  5. Collaborate with other departments and units within the FLT to ensure that our social media content and strategies align with their goals and objectives, and to maximize their impact and reach.
  6. Keep up-to-date with the latest social media trends, technologies, and best practices, and continuously improve our skills and knowledge in social media management and engagement.

By implementing these core functions, the Social Media Unit aims to establish and maintain a strong and engaging social media presence for the FLT that connects with our stakeholders and promotes our mission, vision, and values to the world. We are committed to providing our stakeholders with relevant, accurate, and engaging content that informs and educates them about the FLT's activities, achievements, and opportunities, and to continuously improving our social media performance through analytics, feedback, and best practices.
